HPSC Assistant Professor Selection Criteria
- A candidate will have to secure a minimum of 50 percent marks in the case of a General Category and 45 percent marks in case of Reserved Category (Including all horizontal & vertical reservation cases), in the written exam to be eligible to qualify for the interview stage. However, candidates to the extent of two times (including bracketed candidates, if any) of the number of vacancies, category-wise, will be called for an interview.
- The weightage of the written exam will be 87.5 percent and that of the interview will be 12.5 percent.
HPSC Assistant Professor Exam Pattern 2023
The pattern of the HPSC Assistant Professor Exam will be as under,
- Total number of MCQs = 100
- Out of a total of 100 questions, 90 questions will be from the concerned subjects.
- The remaining 10 questions will be from General Awareness, General mental ability, Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, analytical ability, Decision making and problem-solving, Basic numeracy, Data interpretation, and the questions related to History, Geography, polity Economy, and Culture of Haryana.
- The time duration of the Exam is 2 hours.
- All questions carry equal marks and each question will have five options.
- One-fourth of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The question paper will be bilingual.
